Our Ambassadors
We are on a mission to redefine the word ‘beauty’, ‘luxury’ and ‘fashion’
These are the role models and activists who believe in us
and stand with us to change the world
On 28.08.2019, the 56th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s “I Have A Dream Speech”, Lovedesh is proud to launch its #MLKIHAD (“I Have A Dream”) Fashion Campaign.
We believe that “soulforce’ which MLK talks about is what will help change our society for better. So that fashion is kinder for all.
To celebrate #MLKIHAD campaign, Lovedesh is honoured and proud to unveil our first cohort of Lovedesh Ambassador Warrior Kings & Queens. Who are Black. Inspiring us with their work. And achievements. And demonstrating in to the world in the 21st century of the ‘soul force’ that MLK mentions in his speech. You can also check out who else we invited below. These individuals are from all backgrounds, walks of lives who care about our work on modern day slavery and the impact of fast fashion on climate change.

Why do you do what you do?
I do what I do, as I am passionate about leading the ethical business revolution – on-demand delivery that has been deemed as an unethical industry, however, this does not have to be the case. Everybody can win. We will create a business in which all of our customers, employees and partners are treated right – whilst conducting our activities in an environmentally-friendly manner. My interest in business, stems from my father who is based in Nigeria and runs a successful business. I have been exposed to business from a young age, which has given me great belief I will be successful. My ethical views come from my upbringing, I was brought up to be respectful of people and to never compromise on my values.
What is the hardest part of doing what you do/or what help do you need?
Limited funding has been a great issue as I have not got enough funding to invest in all of the ethical practices which I desire to implement. Collaborations with like-minded entrepreneurs and the power of the network will help me deal with this, as being put in front of the right people is more valuable than funding (and could also lead funding).
How did you meet Yasmin?
Yasmin saw the work I was doing and reached out to me. We spoke over the phone and she told me about her amazing business, Lovedesh – I was sold by her passion and vision to run a business that has a positive impact on the world.
Why did you choose to support Lovedesh and become an Ambassador?
I chose to support Lovedesh, and become an ambassador due to our mutually ethical values. The work Yasmin and Amber are carrying out, is amazing – supporting workers in Bangladesh, helping people internationally who face hardships. The network of ethical entrepreneurs is also a pleasure to be a part of, I look forward to meeting other like-minded entrepreneurs who are making a positive impact on the world.
What difference in the world do you think Lovedesh can make?
Yasmin and Amber are leaders, as rather than chasing the profits, they are creating a better and ethical world. Lovedesh serves as an example to other fashion brands and will lead the revolution of ethical fashion.

What is the hardest part of doing what you do/or what help do you need?
Trying to get the attention of those that hold the power because if you don’t have a large social media profile or TV exposure then it makes it a lot harder. And also, agents will say they are looking just for something fresh and original but truth be told they are looking for something that has the same elements as the last bestseller. E.g Publishers and producers.
